How much does it cost?

It's free to sign up and create a team. Once you play you pay for pitch hire and the referee.

How do I sign up?

You can enter a team by clicking the 'ENTER TEAM' button on the homepage or from the 'SIGN UP' dropdown in the navigation bar. Alternatively just click here. From here you can register your team and player account.

If you would just like to sign up as a player you can select 'SIGN UP AS A PLAYER' from the 'SIGN UP' dropdown in the navigation bar. Or just click here.

How do I login/logout?

Click the 'cog' in the navigation bar (top right on a desktop computer). From the menu you can Login or Logout.

How do I edit my profile?

Click the 'cog' in the navigation bar (top right on a desktop computer). If you're logged in you can select 'UPDATE DETAILS' from the menu.

How do I change my password?

Click the 'cog' in the navigation bar (top right on a desktop computer). If you're logged in you can select 'CHANGE PASSWORD' from the menu.

What happens if I forget my password?

From the LOGIN page you can select Forgotten password? From here you can enter your email and a link will be emailed to you where you can change your password.

How do I find leagues, teams, venues and areas?

Clicking the FIND LEAGUE button on the navigation bar will let you search for leagues in your local area. The venues are also shown on the map. Selecting a venue on the map will display the venue details and associated leagues; except on mobiles.

You can also find leagues, teams, venues and areas directly via the search bar in the navigation bar.

How do I find out more information about a league?

Clicking on INFO in the navigation bar will allow you to request information on a league. Alternatively you can click on the 'Request Info' button on the League pages; this will not appear if your team is already a member of the league.

How do I find a player or league manager?

Player pages are accessible by clicking on a player's name on the associated Team page.

League Manager pages are accessible by clicking on a league manager's name on an associated League page.

How do I find fixtures and results?

These are shown on the Division, Team and Venue pages. Referees can also see their fixtures in the referee's section.

How do I see a match report

You can view match reports by clicking 'View' in the last column of a fixtures table.

How do I see the league, team and player statistics?

League, team and player statistics are shown on the associated Division, Team and Player pages.

How are league statistics calulated?

The league tables are calculated from the results submitted by the referees and the player statistics are for the top players as calculated from the manager match reports.

How are the team statistics calculated?

Team ratings are calculated from the match reports submitted by the referee and team managers. The team's average rating is the mean of the rating submitted by the referee, home and away managers. The scale is from 1 (Low) to 5 (Excellent).

How are the player statistics calculated?

The player statistics are calculated from the match report submitted by their team manager. The player ratings are on the scale 1 (Low) to 5 (Excellent).

How are the referee statistics calculated?

Referee ratings are calculated from the team managers and referee match reports. The average rating is the mean of the rating submitted by the home and away managers. The scale is from 1 (Low) to 5 (Excellent).

How do I see statistics for a previous season?

Where available, these are shown on the Division, Player and Referee pages. One must select the required season from the dropdown list on the left side of the header bar.

Why can't I join a team?

Your team manager needs to email you an invitation. Clicking on the link in the email will then allow you to sign up as a player and add you to the team.

Alternatively, if you sign up as a player or are already registered you can submit a join request on a team page. A request will then be issued to the team manager for approval and you will be added to the team waiting list. This will be shown in the notifications section of 'MY STATS'.

If you are due to play in a match and your request to join has not been accepted please chase the team manager. You will need to be approved in order for your player statistics to be calculated.

Why can't I join a league?

You can only join a league if you are the team manager or assistant team manager and the team is not already a member of a league or on a waiting list. A join request must then be approved by a league manager. If your team is on a waiting list, it will be shown in the notifications section of 'MY TEAM'.

If you are due to play a match soon, please chase your league manager. You will need to be entered into a league for the fixtures to be calculated.

How can I hire a pitch?

We offer our members/teams casual bookings, so if you require a casual booking for training or practice please email us on info@soccersixes.net and we will make a casual booking.


Player

How do I find a team?

If you know the team name, the easiest way is to type it into the search bar in the navigation bar. Another option is to find the appropriate league and then click on the team's name in the league table.

How do I join a team?

Your team manager can send you an invitation by simply entering your email address on the 'INVITE' page from the 'MY TEAM' page.

Alternatively, if you are registered you can go to the Team page and click the 'Join Team' button in the header bar. This will add you to a team waiting list which will then need to be approved by the team manager. If you are on the waiting list for a team it will be shown in the notifications section of 'MY STATS'.

Can I join more than one team?

Yes

How do I leave a team?

You may leave a team by selecting 'Leave Team' on the 'Settings' dropdown on the 'MY STATS' page or by selecting 'Leave Team' on the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page.

How do I become a team manager or assistant manager?

If you create a team you will automatically become a team manager. Selecting the 'Manage Team' from the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page will then let the team manager assign an assistant team manager. An assistant team manager has all the same access as a team manager. In order to be selected an assistant team manager the player must be a team player. If the team manager is removed from a team, the assistant manager will automatically become the team manager. NB. it is not possible for a team manager to be removed from a team without removing the player from the team neither is it possible to remove a team manager if no assistant manager is specified.

How do I find the time and location of my next match?

The 'MY TEAM' page shows the details of the team's next match when available.

How do I see my team and statistics?

If you are registered, the 'MY TEAM' page shows the teams results, league and player statistics. If you are not registered, these can be seen by going directly to the League, Division, Team or Player pages.

How do I see my profile and statistics?

If you are registered, the 'MY STATS' page shows your player statistics. Your personal information is not publicly available.

Why can't I edit a team?

You can only edit a team if you are a manager or assitant manager of the particular team.

Why can't I add/withdraw a team from a league?

You can only add or withdraw a team from a league if you are a member of said league and if you are a manager or assitant manager of the particular team.

What happens if I receive a red card?

The notifications section of the 'MY STATS' page will show if you are currently suspended. If you are suspended please bring the penalty fee to your next match in order to be eligable to play. (This is currently disabled but will be released soon.)


Team Managers

How do I create a team?

Click the 'ENTER TEAM' button on the homepage. From here you can register your team and as a player. If you're already registered and want to create a new team (you can have multiple teams), login and click the 'cog' in the navigation bar. You can then select 'Create Team' from the menu.

Can I manager more than one team?

Yes

How do I edit a team?

Selecting 'Manage Team' from the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page will let you edit the team. Here you can remove players and accept or deny requests to join the team. You can also select the assistant team manager.

How do I invite new players?

Selecting 'Invite Players' from the header bar on the 'MY TEAM' page will let you email invitations to new players. Once the player registers they will automatically be added to the squad.

If the player is already registered they will need to click the 'Join Team' button on the Team page. You can then approve their request on the Manage Team page.

How do I approve player join requests?

Selecting 'Manage Team' from the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page will let you edit the team. Here you can approve/reject players that have requested to join.

How do I reject new players?

Selecting 'Manage Team' from the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page will let you edit the team. Here you can approve/reject players that have requested to join.

How do I remove players?

Selecting the 'Manage Team' from the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page will let you edit the team. Here you can remove players from your team. If the player wishes to rejoin they will need to submit a join request; detailed above.

If the team manager is removed the assistant manager will automatically be made the manager. It is not possible to remove the manager from a team if no assistant manager is specified.

How does a team join a league?

If you're creating a team for the first time you will be asked to select a league when you first join. You will then automatically be added to the league waiting list and you will be added by the league manager.

If you have created an additional team (or have withdrawn from a league/league request) and are the manager or assistant manager, you can click 'Join League' in the header bar of the appropriate League page. The team will then be added to a waiting list for the league and the associated league manager will be notified to approve the request.

Can a team join more than one league?

No. You will need to create an additional team and ask the players to join.

How does a team leave a league?

If you are the team's manager or assistant manager you can select the 'Leave League' link in the 'Team Settings' dropdown on the 'MY TEAM' page or from the Division page. This will notify the league manager that you wish to leave. You will not have officially left the league until a league manager has approved the request.

How do I submit and edit a team manager match report?

Once a match has been completed the league manager or referee will enter the match details. You will then see a link to edit the match report in the final column of the fixtures table. From here you can enter the statistics and ratings for the players, officials and teams. You can also submit a match report. These will then be approved by a league manager.

You can go back and edit the player statistics on a match report at any time after the match has been completed.

What happens if we need to cancel a fixture?

Please contact the league manager if you need to cancel a fixture. You will pay us full match fee for cancelling a match. If a match is cancelled on less than 48 hours’ notice and we are unable to arrange your opponents another game you will also pay us the opponent’s match fee. As Team Organiser you agree to make full payment all fees charges and fines relating to your team. These are payable to us by debit card or bank transfer within 48 hours of the relevant fixture date.

How do I find out how much money my team owes?

The amount of money a team owes is shown in the notifictions section of the 'MY TEAM' page. If you think this is incorrect please contact your league manager. (This is currently disabled but is due to be released soon)

What happens if my team behaves badly?

The referee rates a team's behaviour on a scale from 1 (Very Poor) to 5 (Excellent). The league managers are automatically notified if this is very poor or persistently low.

How do I see if any of my players are banned?

The banned players will be shown in the notifictions section of the 'MY TEAM' page. Please ensure they bring the penalty fine to the next manage in order for them to be eligable to play. (This is currently disabled but is due to be released soon)

Why are there people on my waiting list?

The notifictions section of the 'MY TEAM' page may show players waiting to join your team. You can approve or reject these players on the Manage Team page.

Why are there fixtures showing as waiting in my notifications section?

These fixtures require you to submit a match report.

What do I do at the end of a season?

Nothing.

If you are in the promotion or relegation places your league manager will re-assign the team to a new division next season.
